Numbering approximately 300 ponies, we are the largest hackney pony farm in North America. Our primary goal is to raise the best hackney breeding stock and show ponies possible. Our farm features an extensive breeding program. Fourteen stallions and over one-hundred broodmares are used annually. Broodmares as well as younger stock benefit from hundreds of acres of lush, green Iowa pastures spring through fall. During the Iowa winters every pony on the farm has access to sheltering. 

Ponies of all ages and ability levels are for sale at all times. Whether one is looking for a broodmare, weanling, show pony or promising young stallion, Heartland Hackney Farm should have just what your looking for.

Our farm shows ponies as far west as Oklahoma City, OK and as far east a Devon, Pennsylvania.
